Yesterday, I discovered the most amazing sea creatures I have ever seen. They are called Feather Stars.

Feather Stars are the closest thing alive to walking plants!
Their bodies are so small that they are difficult to see.
Some move about 180 metres per hour – that’s about 5 cm/second.
Their small, tubed feet cover the arms and secrete mucous that enables them to catch plankton floating in the water.
Some grow 150 arms.
The Feather Star has been around for 200 million years.
